Looks good. But you'd better to get a car to metro
I am also interested in the 1bedroom around reston town center. But 1500 looks hard to get a single apartment

Another thing is Single apartment is expensive here. Most >= 1300 without utility, and it's a long distance to the metro.
I think it's suitable you work around Reston.

As someone who takes the bus to the Metro from Reston to DC, I'll let you know that it works fairly well and is done by hundreds of people daily (more like a thousand or so). I don't know either complex but would select the one with the shortest walk to the Park-n-Ride at the corner of Sunset Hills and Town Center Parkway. Here is a link to the bus.
505-555 Sunset Hills - Reston Town Center/West Falls Church
It will take you about an hour to get to DC. I don't think a car to metro is very convenient from Reston - East Falls Church with the best access has virtually no parking. West Falls Church is difficult to get to from Reston and Vienna just takes too long to get to.
