This year's Loudoun Spring Farm Tour is May 21-11. If you've never been, this is a self-guided tour down country roads to about 20 or so participating farms, wineries, and businesses. You can buy spring seedlings and plants (as well as some excellent fresh food), say hello to farm animals (and lots of babies), tour a winery, or just enjoy the beautiful spring scenery.

Makes me miss VA!! and Loudoun county!
Luckettes has some fanstastic sweet corn when it comes in later on in the year!!

Also remember if you have small kids... In the fall the corn mazes and Pumkin picking are fun!

Wow, thanks for posting this - I would really like to do it. I wonder if it would interest an 8 and 6 year old boys? My 6 yr old just loves animals

I can't speak for all kids, but my kids love running around farms. Some of them also have special activities for kids. One of them is giving away kids books--I forget which one, but details are probably on the flyer.
