I know this is a long shot but I figured I try anyways.

I have lost my Seagreen lovebird, her name is Bradly.
She was on my parent’s deck Saturday afternoon May 21st and her cage was open and she flew away.
She is very tamed and will fly to you if you put out your arm, but will not allow to pet her since she will bite.

I believe she is still in the Reston area, between Lake Newport road and Reston Parkway or between Lake Newport road and Fairfax County Parkway area.

I’m willing to pay $300 reward for anyone finding her.
My number is 703 732 6288
Tony

I hope you find your bird. Make sure you post signs every where you can - everywhere. Best of luck in finding Bradly.

Leave its cage open and on your deck and it may return.

I hope you find Bradley!!! When I was a kid, our budgie got outside and flew around the neighborhood for a few hours, resting on the tops of houses (yes!) occasionally. My panicked brother stayed outside, following the bird around for awhile, but eventually he lost him. An hour or so later, our birdie flew back to our house and landed on my brother's shoulder (he was sitting on a bench on our front porch). Psittacines (parrots, etc.) are very smart, so there's a good chance Bradley will return to you. Please keep us updated!

I second kevinm's advice about the keeping the cage open on your deck with its door open, too. And vermonter16's about posting lots of signs, as well. Maybe have the person Bradley knows best stay around your house, outdoors, and have someone else post the signs...

Thank you!

Still searching. She usually flys freely but I only allow it when I'm around because she will come back to me when I call her name, but this time I wasn't there and my Mom decided to let her fly outside. eerrr
