I want one, too, but in my case it's because my drug of choice is perfectly-calibrated fountain soda. The bottled and canned stuff just doesn't do it for me.

That's funny. The place that I found that has the perfect fountain soda is the BGR Joint in Clarendon. The place is pricey if you just want a burger...but the soda....OMG - it was the most perfect soda with just the right amount of everything that came from their machine that did it for me. Forget the food...if i want a real cherry coke fountain soda - that's where I'll get it from!

Settled. I'm going to go grab one of these tomorrow. Seems a little pricey but I like the fact of not having all those bottles to recycle. Plus - my husband can probably use the soda part of it.

Ooh ooh ooh... maybe I'll stop in Clarendon on the way home sometime this week for some first-class fizzy excellence!! I *need* more food places around here that I just can't live without.

LOL - see you in Clarendon!

Got the sodastream today from Kohls since I had a 30% off coupon so it came to $50something bucks plus $10 cash back on top of that. I did see it at BJs where I went afterwards but I was happy with the deal at Kohls (but - if I hadn't had the coupon BJs is the way to go).

At any rate - got it, love it! Already filled 3 liters....and I did get orange soda to try...tastes just like orange soda!

Wow! I am so glad to hear this!

I make my own ginger ale using ginger syrup, cane sugar, and seltzer. It is really fun to try new drinks!

Yeah - I figured - why not give it a shot. My husband made a super, super seltzer like Perrier or something. I thought he was going to make the bottle explode. Leave it to my husband to play with a new toy....he's not allowed anymore .

I threw two bottles in my backpack this morning to take to work. This will sure save a lost of plastic bottles and a lot of trips to Wegmans, a lot of space in my garage, and a lot of space in my car! Thanks for the great idea! I'm going to try the ginger ale mix that you mentioned - I just need to get some ginger syrup....ummmm, since you are so helpful - where did you pick that up from

I buy my ginger syrup from World Market. They also carry a few syrups in the coffee section but I haven't tried those yet.

Stan, you probably wanna delete your e-mail address from that post, or you're gonna get a bargain case of spam delivered to your inbox from all the spammers out there. (People here can PM you directly if they want.) I'm not sure what your question is, though.

Walmart. But I have only bought them per bottle (1 litre). Not sure if they carry it by the case but will check at the next visit.
