28 south will be fine but 50 will suck. I think 50 east would be worse than west 50 though.

Route 50 is just a vortex of suck.

Where are you ultimately heading to, though? (I say this as Centreville Road means you don't have to put up with as much as much of the 50-suck, but it'll go slower than 28.)

28 South has no traffic outside of waxpool to the toll road in the mornings, so you'll have no issues there - That's my commute everyday, it's smooth sailing once I get past the toll road.

Hopefully you don't have to go far on 50 though
