Here's a new way to get rid of stink bugs--talk your principal into eating them!

Hillsboro Elementary School Principal Dave Michener rewarded his students for reaching their reading goal by eating stink bug tacos. He even made a video to commemorate the occasion.

That principal didn't have a chance...who wouldn't meet a goal like that to witness such a disgusting meal?

The principal at Dominion let the kids duct tape him onto a wall. Talk about job dedication.

Ok, I'm not keen on the idea of tacos filled with ANY species of insect, but if I were, I think stinkbugs would be near the bottom of my list. Olfactory and gustatory systems, same pathways, hello!! *C-D needs a barfing emoticon*

Hats off to all the principals who come up with these creative rewards for their students. I wish every school did things like this.

We had a kid in middle school who used to swallow cicadas and then puke them up alive during gym class to get a bunch of laughs. They made him go see a therapist to make sure he didn't have any mental issues. Oh, how the times have changed!

I don't know. Maybe it's just me, but eating a taco with a few insects sprinkled into seems a bit different than swallowing cicadas and throwing them up on purpose.
