No floods here, but we got nailed. Extended gully-washers for several hours.

It came to the beach instead. We got all sorts of rain, wind, thunder, lightning, flood warnings, etc. It's pretty much been nonstop rain for a week now, and more predicted today.

That's why I don't plan weeks at the beach anymore. Got burned on that one a few times.

Oh, we live here so it's okay. Last year it was parched around this time - this year, we're not even having to run our sprinklers!
