Can you tell me what is the closest VRE stop in Bristow? How long would it take to get to Crystal City.

Here are the VRE schedules General Schedule Information - VRE -- It gives you an idea of how long it takes. I've never ridden the VRE myself though.

You might be closest to the Broad Run stop depending on where you are at in Bristow exactly. The address for that stop is 10637 Piper Lane
Bristow, Virginia 20136. Hope this helps.

I've been looking at the VRE schedule lately and I noticed one of the issues with Broad Run station is in the evening time there is a large gap between the scheduled arrivals between 5:39 PM - 6:24 PM. If you plan on getting home at any point in between those times, it may make sense for you to simply drive to the Manassas VRE in Old Town and catch it from there. There is an extra stop in between at the Manassas VRE. The link that djcl86 would definitely show you exactly how your schedule can work with VRE.

The problem with the Manassas stop is if you're not a City of Manassas resident (have a sticker), then you have to pay monthly parking pass to park in the parking garage. You might as well take the free parking at the Broad Run-Airport stop.

Really? How much is the pass per month?

~50-55 minutes from Broad Run to Crystal City on VRE. Broad Run Parking Lot fills up fast....don't plan to take last train in the morning unless you are being dropped off
