I haven't noticed that distinction. I find that some young people are rude and many are not. And again, I find TJ generally refreshing in that regard. But while I look for manners, the manners I look for somewhat different from those ILD looks for.

I think that practice in the workplace went out about the time men stopped wearing hats. In my previous 20+ years in corporate management, I've not seen such behavior in any meetings I've attended.

Thank you for clarifying the interview situation, IndiaLimaDelta. That helped me understand your perspective. And thank you for not mistaking my question as a snarky jab. I was sincere (though there are times I am sarcastic ).

Brooklynborndad, my comment about female students does not apply to your daughter's high school. That is meant sincerely, too.

How about those Colonials? I heard they won their last football game last week and had a lot of National Merit Semi-Finalists this week.
