I'm in a rush right now but will do my best

*Indian Restaurant

Angeethi at 1500 E Market St, Leesburg

*Chinese Restaurant/Takeout

Don't remember the name but it's in Great Falls Shopping Plaza at the corner of Algonkian and Lowes Island Blvd.

*Thai Restaurant

Thai Basil, 14511 Lee Jackson Highway, Chantily

*Steak Joint

Can't help with this one, I don't eat steak

*Seafood place

I like some of the dishes at Tuscarora, 203 Harrison Street, Leesburg . There's also Ford's Fish in Ashburn.

*Pizza/ Italian restaurant

Delia's Tuesday Night BOGO special. It's in Countryside.

*Sub shop/ wing place

I like the subs at Wegman's. They're hard to beat.

*Dry Cleaners

On Rt. 7 between Dranesville and Sterling Blvd. I don't remember the name but it's easy to see as ou're driving by on 7.

*Vet

Animal Medical Clinic near Lowes Island

*Kids places (play areas, dance studios, activities etc)

Too many to list here right now, I'll add to this later.

Also: Mokomandy is a fun place to try. Cajun/Korean cuisine. Yummy, and you've gotta try the alligator.

Vet - Old Mill in Leesburg for medical services and boarding.

Seafood - Husband also likes Fords Fish Shack in Ashburn

Subs - Yeah, probably Wegmans. Little bit more expensive but alot more to bite into.

Thai - Place in Sterling Park in plaza opposite Safeway, name? Always seem to run into the Sterling Fire and Rescue Squad when we go there! Also like Thai by Thai on Route 7 behind the IHOP in Sterling.

Steak - Don't each much but when I do it is off my grill

Chinese and Pizza - Nothing to write home about for either. All ok but nothing spectacular in my opinion. When bored, we run down to Springfield to some pizza place that starts with an M that we like.

Kids places - don't have any kids but there is a pretty cool looking playground at the entrance to Algonkian Park. Makes me wish I was young again. Have to park by ballfields to access it.

Blue Ridge Vet in Purcellville is great for dogs, cats, and large animals, cows, goats, buffalo. They've stopped doing horses. They make house calls too which is great for elderly dogs who hate going into the vet's office.

Lightfoot is good, but rather pricey. Tuscarora Mill in Leesburg is fabulous and has a great bar with good bar food too. Fireworks next door, owned by Tuskies is also very good and their other restaurant, Magnolia Mill in Purcellville.

Sweetwater is also good, but too crowded and noisy for my tastes.

For Thai - Burapa Thai in Landsdowne
Last time I got something from Thai by Thai in Sterling, most of it went to trash, nasty
And I used to enjoy that place a lot. They recently renovated, and I wonder if they changed owners...

I also want to mention Thai Luang in Herndon. Herndon has some of the most amazing ethnic restaurants, and most of them are hidden away in unlikely places. Thai Luang is a little difficult to find because it's in the back of a commercial area but it's well worth the effort to find it.
