I hope that back in Alexandria it does not get TOO cold because I still have some tenders outside there that I am going back to pick up on Sunday. Long as it stays above freezing they should be just fine.
Thanks, United Caps Skins Fan. I'm a new gardener. :-)

Speaking about gardens, I just went out and snapped a few shots of snow on the roses and fall foliage. I'm not a fan of snow but I have to admit it's pretty. I'll try to post 'em tomorrow.

it's snowing here in Chantilly. Not really sticking on the ground yet but it is on the roof. We do have a lot of ice on the ground though. I am loving it!

We have a wet, heavy snow mixed with rain. It isn't sticking on the ground but there is icy mush all over cars.

If it sticks on the ground we'll light up the pumpkins and get some pictures.

Wet snow here in Clifton/Centreville. It's not sticking to the road, but it is sticking to the cars parked outside.

i was out running errands in Stafford and it wasn't snowing, but the hail didn't feel very good! i saw several accidents. it still surprises me how bad the driving is up here. makes me very nervous for when there is snow and ice on the ground.
