Will the Redline from Bethesda to Shady Grove compete with the orange line Rosslyn to Ballston in the future?

I commented over there. There's no need to compete. In a sentence, there are enough people moving here in droves to fill up both the red line and orange line.

A red line vs. orange line smackdown is long overdue. I think orange is a much more versatile color than red, but I really wish they would've chosen more of a burnt orange. Red is SO last Fall.

The one advantage the Rosslyn-Ballston (or beyond) corridor will always have over the Bethesda-Shady Grove corridor is a seamless connection into the commercial heart of D.C.
