Hello,

I am moving to Arlington, VA and looking for 1 bedroom apartment or studio at range price 1000 - 1400.

Can anyone suggest any good communities, close to metro access, safe, quiet environment and space for parking.

I will consider Alexandria too.

Thanks in advance.

You might find an efficieny in a dumpy place off Columbia Pike for that rate (Arlington), but I can almost guarantee you you're going to have to look at a minimum 5 to 10 miles away.

What about 1400 - 1600? Do you know any communities in that range of price?

What about Bennett Park?

Thanks.

That range should get you into Arlington (in places); certainly a lot of Alexandria. This ain't a cheap town.

When I first came to NoVa, I rented a 3 bedroom with two other guys for $975 a month in Alexandria. You're hard pressd to find a dumpster for that price these days.

Depends on what you mean. Arlington is a pretty defined area. Alexandria can mean the City of Alexandria, or areas outside of the area (areas south of Old Town, south headed down Van Dorn Street, and west a bit beyond the West End).

Can someone provide me with a list of top 10 condominiums to rent in Arlington or Alexandria?

I am thinking once I get over there to get a hotel for a week and check apartments myself before signing a lease.
