Thanks to this forum, many of my questions about the Quantico area have been answered...HOWEVER,
I'm looking for a nice 2-3 bdroom Townhome, single family home, or condo North of Quantico Marine Base beginning in Jan. 1, 2014. I am 30-something, no kids, looking for safe, low crime neighborhood. Close to shopping, social scenes and DC, but still a less than 30 minute commute to Base. Having a hard time finding all of these in one. ANYBODY know a realtor or for rent by owner in the Woodbridge/Lorton/LakeRidge area? All replies appreciated and considered.

Note that there are no social scenes per se in the area that you are looking. Lorton's Town Center area would be the closest although it pales in comparison to other options further north. Lorton would at least put you in striking distance of Old Town Alexandria - 15 minutes north of Lorton - which features bars, restaurants and shopping that tend to appeal to those in their 30s on up. Woodbridge, including its Lake Ridge community might add 10-15 minutes to that commute up to Old Town.acgood , anyone outside the real estate industry is welcome to offer to send their realtor suggestions via Direct Message.

Thank you Tone509. I'm looking for something that would offer me a "LIFE" and ways to meet new/other people. I know I'm asking for a lot, but I am interested in any realtors who rent. T
