Has anyone been following the meetings at Lake Anne? It was on October 1 and was about developing the Crescent Apartments.

I am starting to understand why the area has become run down in what should be the crown jewel of a very nice area. There is are a surprising number of low income residents in this formerly trendy area. I didn't know that Fairfax County designated it as a Revitalization Area Lake Anne - OCRR - Fairfax County, Virginia

That's a good idea because it certainly has the potential to be a nice place. I think that one of the main problems is that La Villa market has become a magnet for a lot of undesirables. It attracts a high number of scruffy men who are apparently unemployed and just lurking around. It comes across as seedy and unsafe. If they could shut down the market, I think it would to a long way towards revitalization.

Anyway, I was curious if anyone knew what happened with the meeting. It's a shame that such a nice historical area has taken a bad turn.

Here is a map of the area if anyone is curious. http://www.fcrevit.org/lakeanne/down...COwnership.pdf Thanks.
