Hello All: I'm looking to organize a special surprise b'day party for my husband for his 40th. Any suggestions for venues? I'm looking in Loudoun or Fairfax county....not too expensive though! thanks!

We rented the local HOA community center and it was awesome. Cheap and fun and we could essentially invite as many people as we wanted (I think the capacity was around 170 people). Not sure if this is what you're looking for but it worked well for us.

I had my 50th at Rebounderz in Sterling -- not sure if that's the sort of party you have in mind, though. We went to The Buffalo Wing Factory after our jumping around session.

A little more info would help -- how large a crowd, will you be drinking mixed drinks or just beer/wine, or is this a non-drinking crowd? Any food the guest of honor prefers/hates?
