Austin Grill is good. I did have for the first time a fish taco that was outstanding. It was a nice restaurant in Kings Town, forget the name. (not a fast food joint)

Depends what you are looking for in a taco.... I'm a big Tippy's Taco fan...just basic Tex Mex. Or El Taco, they do good basic fare as well. When all else fails there is Taco Bell .

I've been to Austin Grill as well....a very long time ago and I do remember it to be very good.

The only authentic Mexican tacos I've found in the area are at Tacos El Costalilla on Route 1 near the Home Goods store. Everything else around here is either poseur Salvadorean or chain Tex-Mex. Being as I'm a native Southern Californian I have high standards.

My husband would agree (although I thought their tacos were comparable to Guapos). We can never remember the name of this little dive so we just call it "Best Tacos Ever".

Him: "Hey, want to go to Best Tacos Ever?"
Me: "Who doesn't want to go to Best Tacos Ever?"

Don't feel bad. I loved those greasy little tacos from "Jack in the Box" when they where around the DC area.

Taqueria Poblano Number 3 on 2401 Columbia pike in Arlington isn't bad. However, as a former So Cal guy, I know what Cava1990 is talking about. I have not been to Tacos El Costalilla on Route one but I will check it out.
