Hi

Does anyone know if Avalon Crescent and Archstone are walkable to any of the new Silver Line stations. I can't find the metro addresses to Google them.

They will both be walkable to the new Tysons Central 7 station scheduled to open later this year, but Archstone will be closer (about a five minute walk). Avalon Crescent would be walkable to either Tysons Central 7 or Tysons Central 123, but it would be a longer walk.

Dulles Metrorail - Map and Stations

I think Avalon Crescent will be a good 3 or 4 blocks away (maybe more).

Avalon Crescent is about a half mile walk to Tysons Mall metro, but the good thing is 1/2 of that distance is indoor within Tysons 2 mall.

Plus there will be circulator buses in both of these neighborhoods on 10 minute headways during rush hour, so it wont be very hard to hop on one.

To answer your question: Avalon Crescent is definitely walkable to the Tysons Corner station. It's about 10-30 minutes depending on how fast you walk. And as tysonsengineer said, you can walk halfway there through the Tysons Galleria.

I couldn't find (and still can't find) a good map anywhere on WMATA's website, so I actually put together a quick guide w/a Google Map of where the Tysons stations are. Hopefully this helps.
