I go to the one in Manassas because it's where I live....I guess it depends on what you're looking for. Last weekend they has all kinds of vegetables, corn on the cob, someone was making fresh kettle corn....a couple of vendors with fresh salsas and someone had Ghost Peppers...hooooot. Some local angus farms sell their meats (too bad husband has heart disease and we don't eat beef anymore) fresh pork and bacon....some seafood guy is there....a seasoning and spices person is there....

Old Town's is pretty good. I've been the Del Ray/ 4 Mile Run Park one and it's much smaller but on Sundays so if you miss the other markets you can still hit that one up.

I personally like the one in Herndon, but I haven't tried that many others.

Manassas is my favorite too. After going there for a couple of years, you get to know the vendors. Its pretty much the same ones year after year. Nice group of old time farmers who bring their produce into 'town'. Some of the farmer markets I've been to look like they get their produce at Safeway and resell it.

My go to market is the one in Court House, but I have to say that the Falls Church farmers market is better (both are on Saturdays).

I tend to go to the one in Falls Church because it's closest. Of course, most of your choices are going to be similar from the produce vendors because they are going to grow what grows well in the area and is in season. I would love to go to the Annandale one, but it's on Thursdays and for some reason, the Boss wants me at work on Thursday mornings.

We go to Reston farmers market and love it. I look forward to getting a Saturday morning muffin/scone/turnover from Baguette Republic:

Their brioche hamburger buns are epic.

Can't compare the Reston farmers market to any others because it is the only one I've been to.

We also like the one in Manassas. We started going when it was over where the pavilion is now.
