I have a friend that wants to link up for a happy hour in the Manassas area...does anyone know of any decent ones with good specials? I haven't looked for a happy hour since I was....well, in my 20s....and that was quite some time ago.

We love Okra's in downtown Manassas. Mainly because they have Abita beer on tap (including root beer), and that's our favorite brewer. I believe their happy hour specials are 1/2 priced apps and beer from 3pm - 7pm.
I just checked their website and see that due to water main work, they will not open today until 4pm.

I forgot to mention that if you're a smoker, Mackeys right across the street has smoking on the ground level and non smoking on the 2nd floor. They've got some good pub grub also.

Owner is on the premises (usually). 2 Dollar Ying Lings during HH. Great hot wings....tell them extra hot, or they will hold back. Smoking out front. City Tavern is just too typical NoVa Greek Restaurant.
