I don't often use the toll road but was on it today and as I am waiting at the main toll plaza I noticed at least two cars follow close behind the car in front of them and not pay. Is this a common thing and do they get away with it?

It was a coin only lane. I thought only the lanes marked were ez pass but maybe I was wrong.

I'm sure it was just EZPass. If not, camera's most likely will catch them.

Nevermind looks like they all take the pass. Just seemed weird to me that they waited in the line rather than drive through the express lane.

Doing a fair bit of mobile surveillance over that way, I often end up sitting in the cash lanes behind a subject and then going through with EZPass. I kind of doubt that's what they were doing, more likely trying to avoid the toll. But I can tell you that all of the lanes definitely take EZPass.

Awhile back I read about folks gaming the system by REAL close following valid cars, thus "fooling" the sensor(s) into thinking it's one long vehicle - but we're talking almost touching, not 5 feet.
