there is one TJ's in reston and one in centreville, quite close to the Loudoun border, and isn't there a MOMs in Herndon?

I know, not the same as having it in your own neighborhood, but from a market perspective, that is quite close to eastern loudoun, at least.

Yes, but there are many things I can't get even at Wegmans, as much as they do carry.

Those are relatively close to Sterling, but both not in great locations as far as things like traffic. I'm pretty sure the market could support additional locations in, say Leesburg (further from that eastern border) or certain parts of Ashburn. I'm in Sterling (as east in Loudoun as can be), and I HATE going to either of those TJ's or the awful Whole Foods in Reston. I'll admit I don't bother with the Herndon MOM's anymore since I discovered after getting home that multiple items I'd bought there were very expired (some by nearly a year).

I didn't know until right now there was a Whole Foods planned for Ashburn, so that's good news! Hopefully it will be a nice big one like in Fairfax.

I don't disagree, honestly. The market likely COULD support at least one of these stores going in somewhere in Loudoun. Just trying to look at it from the company's perspective - as someone who does market research for companies for a living, I have a tendency to do that.

I didn't like the Reston WF, either. went there once - never went back. The one in Fairfax is nicer.

Sorry about MOMs - that stinks.

I could walk to the TJs in Reston from our old place - I rarely go anymore, because both are too far from our current hood.

Two Wegman's, an announced Whole Foods (although I believe opening is not until 2015), and The Fresh Market coming very soon.

The Fresh Market? I'll have to look into that - don't think I've ever even heard of it. Thanks!
