We just inherited a mountain bike and a ten speed that need a lot of service. Any suggestions for a good place to get this done in Loudoun County? (Or Reston/Herndon, if there's a good shop there.)

I had a great experience at Performance Bicycle in Reston at Plaza America. My old man disassembled my mountain bike and sent it over ups. Got it all tuned up and ready to go for around 70.

Performance Bike by far is the cheapest. I think they tune up cost about $50. Everywhere else it range between $79-130

Or you can bring it to Hudson Outfitter trail too. They have 2 options. $100 they will do it for you or sign up for their free tune up class every 1 or 3rd Wednesday of the month.(need to verify the date), bring your bike and they show you basic tune up

This is the one we went to. We were going to try Performance but needed to run an errand next door to this place anyway so that was that. Prices were very good, and they did the work while we were running our errands next door. Nice not to have to drive back to get the bikes. I'm very pleased with this store.
