I was essential for 30 years and have always loved driving/working in bad weather. I often go in during this weather, even when allowed to telework. I trust my driving but not that of others. Might stay home in the AM. I'm always up at 3AM so maybe I'll provide a road report by 4 or 5 am.

If we get the ice mix it won't hurt. But it certainly won't hurt to leave them down unless you try to turn them on while frozen to the windshield.

Good question. I bought a gallon of milk from Costco yesterday. It's a "Kirkland Signature" brand from Seattle, WA

They have more antibiotics which promote more rise in the bread!

Maybe! I, too, have noticed "thicker" texture - might have been my imagination, granted, but if the wife says "Get that milk" then...you know...you get that milk.

Having typed that I =have= had milk (in Taiwan of all places) that was pretty darn close to the cow - lots of fat, butterfat, cream, etc - it for SURE wasn't your run-of-the-mill filtered, water-added milk at the local grocers.

Just finished eating and coming back from the Giant on Rolling Road.

Avoid that area at all costs!

The parking lot is packed and inside of Giant, it looks like someone just ran through the aisles and knocked everything off lol.

As far as milk, I was . All the non-fat milk is gone. It is funny because all the whole milk was still there. I never knew so many people drink non-fat milk. What is funnier is that these same people that got it in line had nachos, cookies, and microwavable foods. Irony.

Parking lot also stinks because there is no traffic light to help people get out. One guy waited at least 10 minutes before making a left turn.

Chipotle was also packed.

Cheers!

The one on the corner of rolling and old keene mill? They were out of nonfat milk back on Sunday too! I ended up stopping at Shoppers on OKM yesterday to pick it up.

You're gonna need the fat if you're snowed in.

I would definitely flip them up. If it's anything but a bunch of fluffy powder, they'll stick to the windshield.
