Some schools have SOL tests scheduled for Monday. This might impact whether the school system issues a delay vs pulling the full parachute for closing the whole school district.

I will be going nowhere near a grocery store today, I assure you of that. I just assume fast for tomorrow than deal with that.

This is sounding to me like a full on closure - both for schools and for the fed govt. The forecast for freezing rain and then snow, followed by very cold temperatures is a not a good combination.

I think Monday and Tuesday are a given at this point. I'm starting to wonder about a field trip we have scheduled for Wednesday.

I may not even go to the store today. We have supplies for a couple of days. I feel like living on the edge this time

Just got back from Walmart to get some groceries. The one in town (Winchester) was already getting long lines so I turned around and went to the 2nd Walmart outside of town. Also very full but manageable. Seemed to be plenty of eggs, milk, water, etc.

Maybe it will increase as the day goes on.

Otherwise, we have plenty of food, drinks, and firewood. I put one snow shovel out in the carriage house but I'd better go get it by tonite. And we have plenty of rock salt for the sidewalks too.

Target was good and they had plenty of everything. Maybe a little bit more brisk business than usual but very, very manageable.

I was watching Fox 5 this morning and everyone seemed so depressed about this storm, I think we're all pretty much ready for winter to be over.

I was really depressed yesterday afternoon. Then late last night we realized my kid probably has pink eye. Now I feel like I'm playing with house money in terms of school closing since he'll likely miss a couple days regardless and I'm probably taking sick days to care for him.
