Hang out and in 5 minutes someone with your sensitivities would be pointing an accusing finger at them and crying out "OMG! They're yuppies!"

By day most of our volunteers are IT engineers, project managers, research scientists, etc. By night you'll see them in firefighter clothes when they're eating out. At home you'd probably see clothes bought at the Nordstroms at DTC. So not quite sure clothing will keep you safe from those encounters with the dreaded yuppie.

The clientele. The one on 234 in Dumfries has had a shooting, fights and so on. We don't eat in places where we're visiting to handle calls for service on a regular basis.

Yes, because Cracker Barrel is popular with blue collar folks there is lots of crime at the location in Dumfries. I would be scared to death to go there!

Makes sense. The ones in Winchester are pretty cool. They just opened a another/new one a few months ago.

He's talking about Waffle House, not Cracker Barrel.

And your statement doesn't make sense. OOH, you defend blue collar workers. OTOH, now you're "scared to death" to eat at a Cracker Barrel they frequent?

Are you saying the Cracker Barrel has a lot of crime or are you agreeing about the Waffle House? The Cracker Barrel does not have a lot of crime issues and I don't believe I ever went on one call there.

Waffle House: "Smoothered & Covered", it's not just for our hashbrowns, it's for our customers too!

I am just joking! I consider the average Cracker Barrel customer to be the salt of the earth. (I missed these people in my life in corporate American in DC where most of our staff had advanced degrees and had huge egos and thought they were better than working class folks. The people I see in Cracker Barrels all over America look like the nice neighbors I had in a working class community in the Midwest I grew up in and the food is exactly what I grew up with.)
