For anyone going this way I just got an alert and I'm not sure how old it is. A fatality shut down 95 S/B near Dumfries completely although WTOP shows one lane getting by. Not good at all, especially for a Friday afternoon.

Thank you! Thank you! I'm about to head that way. Guess I'll be taking my alternate route home!

Editing to add: Just checked the cameras on TrafficLand - I see the backup at Occoquan and PW Pkwy, and absolutely nothing (in the main lanes) heading SB at Dale City. I'm not sure that even one lane is getting by...

The signs say all lanes are close. I exited off the HOV lanes to the Springfield-Franconia Pkway, hit Hooes Road to Rt 123. Took 123 to Old Bridge, Old Bridge to Minnieville and on down. It took me 20 minutes longer than usual. I will say that the some of the Woodbrige routes (Old Bridge, Dale BLVD, Cardinal) are very heavy from bail out.

I read about that. There was one fatality and two life threatening injuries.

HOV is supposed to be open to all traffic....

I was about to go to Woodbridge and someone told me they were closed (95S). I didn't believe it. I then checked on Google Map and checked my travel time:

14.7 miles
Usually 21 minutes

Now 1 hour 26 mins!

Worst day ever!

It's open but VERY bogged down. I was surprised that the "back way" was moving quite well.

Consider yourself lucky, that's a pretty average day for the most 95 commuters.

And he wasn't a fatality on 95 SB.

I just read on WTOP all lanes are open again but I imagine this is gonna make traffic worse than it already is especially on a Friday.
