I agree. Aldie traffic down 50 has improved significantly. I can get to gmu daily in about 35 minutes from aldie so Chantilly is a breeze. Much better than driving down from Ashburn. While Ashburn is mainly built out a lot of new major retail developments are happening along 50 so there is lots of potential. You will see your home gain the 40k value over time anyways.

What time are you leaving that this traffic is so great?

These days with the full 3 lanes its a comfortable 20 minutes off hours and just around 30 minutes during rush hours. Most of the traffic I encounter is around Fairfax itself now . Traffic solved in one place only shifts to others...
