Me too, and it was usually gone in less than 2 weeks. Only the Himalayan one, described earlier, will make it a month. I saw one like that in 2010, and it took a month to melt it.

It's not going to go below freezing tonight. So even after the sun sets, some melting will be going on all night. Tomorrow morning we'll have relatively warm rain showers for 3-4 hours followed by a fairly sunny afternoon in the 50s. And the week will continue the same way--some rain, a good amount of sun, and temps in the 50s. Next week it will get cold again, but by then most of the snow piles will have melted and what's left will be more easily melted by the sun even if it is a little colder.

We could have a race to see which one lasts the longest.

You have been warned.

Massive Nor'easter to hit any day between 27 feb and 2 mar. It will be accompanied by the coldest temperatures of the year (yes single digits and less).

Where are you reading this? No one can accurately predict weather 1.5-2 weeks in advance with that sort of specificity. I wouldn't put too much stock in this prediction.

After growing up in NH and being stationed at FT Drum, NY for 5 years, I have seen plenty of snow piles well above 15 feet. It'll melt a lot quicker than you think. I'd be shocked if they were still around in April. If they are, we are still enjoying winter.

If this big blizzard hits after the snow piles have melted, it won't count. It'll just be the start of a new snowpile.
