I would probably just eat at Union Station. There's a British cafe place called "Pret a Manger" which I love and there's a "Le Pain Quotidien" right across from that. Pret A Manger has awesome ham and cheese croissants as well as good coffee.

Just walk right after you walk in the double doors from the VRE and go all the way down the corridor before you hit H&M.

I would walk to the ATF building from there too, because by the time you go down two escalators, pay for your train, get there, and go back up two escalators, you could have already walked there.

There's also Harris Teeter and Au Bon Pain right in front of the ATF HQ
