It's bad enough that you are consistently and unnecessarily rude to other posters. Do you have to be wrong as well?

Arlington County schools can't opt out of "US rankings," because they are usually based on information that is publicly available to US News and other publications that decide to rank schools. To take one example, US News ranked Yorktown and Washington-Lee High Schools the 8th and 21st best schools in the state in its most recent rankings (the same rankings in which West Springfield HS in 22152 was ranked 9th):

Yorktown High School in ARLINGTON, VA | Best High Schools | US News

West Springfield High School in SPRINGFIELD, VA | Best High Schools | US News

Washington-Lee High in ARLINGTON, VA | Best High Schools | US News

My bad I was wrong although I did read that somewhere.

Where was I being rude exactly? I said your analysis didn't make sense thats not being rude lol. Also I'm not constantly rude to other posters so your comment was unnecessary and not related to the thread? The comment you stated was rude and hypocritical.

I do not have to but I personally feel I am cutting corners and not really trying if I'm not.

Wow! Wasn't expecting such a response. Quick points:

1) Thank you to those who understand where I'm coming from

2) Wasn't being snide towards Vienna, just being honest, since I had friends in the area and used to frequent it

3) My fiancé and I plan on having kids, and based on the cost-price/stress ratio, this was clearly the best and better aesthetically pleasing than the other concrete jungles we looked at. That being said, for what you pay and get out of it, WSHS and Iriving are high performing schools and it's well known.
