Hello,
My mom has some health limitations due to an autoimmune disorder. Do any of the Rec Centers around annandale/bailey's/north springfiled/columbia pike have an indoor track for walkers/runners?

This is pretty common where I'm from, but harder to find back in VA.

Thank you!

You may check out Audrey More Rec Center, basically at Braddock Rd and the Beltway.
They do have an indoor gym but I don't know if there is an inside walking track as part of it or not. Audrey Moore RECenter*- Fairfax County, Virginia

I think the Spring Hill Rec Center on Lewinsville Road in McLean may be the only one in Fairfax County with an indoor track. The closest one to you might be the Thomas Jefferson Community Center in South Arlington. There is no indoor track at the Audrey Moore center.

You don't need to live in Arlington County to use the TJ facility, but you would pay a higher admission fee if you're not a county resident.

I know Lee District Rec has one, but it's probably not close enough.

I also recommend mall walking. Many malls encourage pre-opening walkers and cater to them for possible future sales. Besides the safe, indoor environment, there are plenty of places to sit, take a break and socialize with the like minded Baby Boomers.
