Every since 6/20 my car has not been able to pick up a clear and consistent SiriusXM single in the Burke/West Springfield area, and has been struggling in NoVA overall, but with a few patches where it works perfectly fine (like tonight, no issue whatsoever by Springfield Town Center). SiriusXM has been useless on phone or via tech chat, and I've read about explanations related to additional LTE interference or XM having ground transmitter problems after the many intense storms this summer. I have yet to drive out of NoVA since then but have a trip upcoming to NY next weekend, which should make it clear whether it's local to my built-in antenna (car is 4+ years old) or geographically related. Anyone else have any insights?

I don't spend a lot of time in the Springfield area (live in Woodbridge) but I have had absolutely no issues with my XM reception at all. My carpooler either. We do drive up to DC just about everyday and go through your area on 95. I did drive to Reston last night via 123 and the FFX County Parkway, and no issues at all.

I've only had a problem with my XM at my usual spot. Right next to my condo complex.

Thanks for the responses. Old Keene Mill from Rolling to 286 is a total (new) deadzone for me and then I drive daily during the summer up to 236 and Guinea in Fairfax and that whole route is now dead too.

I've noticed sometimes when I'm in Tysons or Chantilly it goes out for about 5 seconds. It's really bad in certain parts of Chantilly, it's odd.

Lets see, you have several military bases both secret and unknown near Springfield who occasionally jam signals during the day. I cannot confirm or deny this.
