I know this is probably a dumb question so I apologize in advance. I've made use of the Pentagon City Metro stop in the past, but I've only returned to my car in the parking garage when the mall is still open. Next week I'll be riding the yellow line to the Lincoln Theatre for a concert that will end after mall hours. I'd like to just take the yellow line from Pentagon City rather than starting at Springfield and transferring. SO my question is, can I still access the Pentagon City parking garage from the Metro stop even after the mall is closed? I've looked and looked and can't find this info anywhere.

Yes you can usually walk through the food court of the mall after it closes. If you come back super late (like after midnight) it might be closed, but then you could just walk around the mall and into the parking lot anyway. You could also just park at a metered spot on the street by the metro as you don't have to pay after 6pm ( and free on the weekend too).
