Sounds cool. The only other one in the NCR that I know of is the Winkler Reserve just behind Mark Center--and it's only open weekdays, making it not practical for anyone other than school groups.

Arlington to my knowledge has never had anything like this but did have a bowling alley and mini-golf--till the development moved in and replaced all the fun stuff. I would kill to have golf karts nearby.

I remember there being one in Alexandria somewhere. Does that ring any bells?

Not for me, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were some back in the day. About 10 years ago, I took my wife to a go-kart place in Centreville--first time for her and a lot of fun for both of us.

What is NCR? All I can come up with is National Cash Register and that just doesn't quite make sense.

Are golf karts really that exciting? .

Edit: Ok. My wife and I figured out the "NCR".

Just saw this. For posterity: NCR = National Capital Region. (Way better than that other acronym that, to my ear, sounds like something from an Eastern Motors ad and was already taken for decades by the Dept. of Motor Vehicles.)

Go-karts are a lot of fun!

I guess I just had never heard "NCR" before. I agree about the other acronym.

Now, go karts I can understand, but golf karts on the other hand had me curious. My mother lives in a 55+ neighborhood in FL and the golf karts are really pretty tame.

The big one that I know of is in Sandy Spring, Maryland. Our old elementary school in Vienna does that as the sixth grade class trip.
