How is the commute from Fairfax/Vienna to Centreville? Google tells me it's "30-65 mins" by car, if that's accurate. Or I could drive to Vienna Metro and take the Fairfax Connector Bus 630 to Centreville. I'm new to the area so don't know if any of this is realistic or if it will be terrible beyond belief.

Any thoughts on the 630 bus? Is there generally parking at Vienna Metro? Or should I drop the park + bus idea and just drive all the way? I will be alone, so wont take 66 due to HOV restrictions.

What times in the day? I can make it in 14 minutes sometimes but it can be 40+ minutes in the evening.

Hours are somewhat flexible. AM commute would likely be around 7:30-8am, but I could leave as late as 9am. I don't know about afternoon/evening hours yet.

Public transportation would take way longer than just driving. Since I don't know the specific two spots, I would be shocked you're going more than 10-12 miles and would estimate 30 minutes max. You are also traveling the opposite direction most people are going. If you took Lee Highway the entire way, it's a pain due to the traffic lights. I would try 66 and then if you feel it takes to long, try some alternates.

You'd be doing a reverse commute. The HOV restrictions will not apply to you.

Definitely drive all the way. No HOV restrictions going west in the morning and public transportation is not a realistic option.

It's about 15 miles. I will try 66 and maybe try Lee Hwy to compare just because I hate highway driving. Thanks.
