So I get into first lane and the left lane is full. So I move and then wanted to continue straight but there was a car broken in the next lane. So I make left and cop shows up.
I'm trying hard to understand. So you made a left turn instead of going straight on Dolly Madison from a straight through lane, not from one of the left turn lanes? That can't be what you meant. You must mean you crossed Scott's Crossing going straight in the right turn lane? Oh I think I finally get it.

You mean that you were in the right turn lane intending to go straight on Dolly Madison. You planned to stay there and cross Scott's Crossing and either turn right at the next right, or move left later on in the right turn lane on the other side, but a broken down car forced you to drop that plan and move left at, or near, the intersection of Scott's Crossing and Dolly Madison. Is that correct? If it is, I'm sorry to say, that is a legit violation.

On a map it's basically half a mile from the exit to Scott's Crossing. You couldn't move one lane over in that time period? In a HALF A MILE? Also that is a SUPER common area for people to come off 66, ride the right turn only lane then cut over at the last second.

Assuming the above description is correct (you went through Scott's Crossing in the right only lane) you're gonna lose this ticket too. Mail them both in and take the driver class to get +5 points back (no taking it before court won't help you).
