A good point. I also don't hear traffic reports of 66 being SHUT DOWN as much as I do 95 for this or that. The idea of having an entire interstate shut down boggles my mind, but it seems to happy on 95 every other week.

ill never understand why 95 by Occoquan shrinks a lane. ALL of VA needs to be 4 lanes on 95.

Hey, that's an improvement. It used to shrink to 3 lanes much more north than it does now. They keep extending the lane gradually and the bottleneck moves farther and farther south. When I first move here, I think it was at Lorton.
