Live in Ballston area and have an appt. at U of Md. affiliate (Kernan Hosp) in Baltimore. Google map says just over an hour but I know traffic will stink. Have to be there at 6:15 PM--what time should I plan to leave?

I am the type that will leave well in advance and stop and eat or something to burn time when close. Or just sightsee. But that's me.

You can adjust your arrival time/day of the week on google to get a good idea of what time you should leave Tuesday.
