I do not own a ladder and unable to climb one due to foot and knee injury. I just a person with a 20ft or more ladder to push/set in a piece of siding that is loosened from the side of my house. It is about three stories high in that location form the ground. Please let me know if you can some to do it before Sunday but as soon as possible as it will rain on my wood. Thank you.

Location: Newington Forest, Springfield, VA 22153

You should phone your local house of worship and they will find someone to help you out.
St Raymond of Penafort is close to you

I could be wrong, but I have never known parishes to provide handy-man services for people. Is this something I missed? Since I am confirmed, maybe I should start funneling a few bucks to my local parish, so I can also obtain some handy man services.

I suggest Craigslist, Angie's List, ask neighbors, etc.

Every RCC parish I've ever associated in my entire life has had the office evaluate the need and sincerity of the person, then 9/10 will refer to either Catholic Charities/Knights of Columbus for further assistance.

You have no idea how much time each day a Diocesan priest spends with home-bound/needy/hospitalized elderly in similar circumstances.

Catholic Charities is the 9th largest charitable association in the United States alone with revenues of 3.9 billion annually. 400 million for Management/Fundraising

Many parishes or churches do things like this as part of their ministry. We have an elderly man across the street who gets his lawn cut every other week through a church he has never even belonged to. Someone connected him at some point and now every other week they come out to manage stuff around his house and property.

KCC has larger scale projects too.

What if OP isn't a religious person? Some of you are stressing that aspect.

The churches don't care. Generally the ministries don't care if you are religious; only if someone is in need.

Of course there are options. Asking a neighbor would be one. Posting on a site like Freecycle or Buy Nothing Groups on Facebook.
