I think this is going to vary street by street but on their street and adjacent streets they have had some of the same neighbors for YEARS. Next door neighbor on one side has been there longer than them but the neighbor on the other side has changed probably a dozen times. This neighbor works for the State Dpt and has rented their home off and on over the years while they are overseas.

We live in Annandale on the east end just a few blocks from Braddock Road in Aspen Hill. We love it here. It is an easy drive to just about everything. We don't have kids so we don't bother with that aspect when shopping for a home. Most of our neighbors in our TH community are baby boomers like us.

Part of Annandale inside the Beltway is also zoned for Stuart HS, which will officially become Justice HS later this year.

I just moved to Annadale east, inside the Beltway, off 395. I love it here! Very convenient to just about everywhere I want to go, and a great express bus to the MEtro.
