I'll be working at Camp Springs, MD right at Branch Ave Metro.

Suggestions on where to live?

Yes, cost of housing is a concern (would like a SFH, not a condo, townhouse, or apt). Yes, schools are a concern.

OP - I see in your previous thread, you indicated your budget is $350k-$425k and you'd like a 3 bedroom home. IMO, you're going to have to move pretty far out from PG County to get a SFH in that price range. What's your commute tolerance?

For instance, in my zip (22192) there are 20 SFHs listed on Realtor.com within that price range. But the commute from Lake Ridge to Camp Springs might drive you to drink.

@HokieFan: I can deal with about a 1 hour commute. 1.5 would be max.

@spen: see below for budget...ideally want a 3+ bed 1+ bath...minimum ~1200 sq feet.
