We are thinking to buy a house in South Village in South Riding. We are being transferred to Washington DC. but will be traveling internationally a great deal of time. Is this a good location for easy access to Dulles? Any thoughts on the South Village location as to commute time, life style, activites for adults, ease of shopping, etc?

Yea it should be pretty easy to Dulles from South Riding. 50 West will get backed up some days, and forget 28 North. You may have an easier time driving on the backroads, but it's worth a shot.

Old Ox Road is your friend there.

Loundon County Pkwy to Old Ox Road - easiest access to IAD.
