My family and I have been looking for a place to live in NoVA for a while now. We have a bid in on a house about 4 miles SE of Manassas. So I'm curious to know what the story is on the street in Manassas. I was just there a couple of months ago and saw a lot of construction around the Wal-mart there. Does anyone know about some good gossip about what's going on in the near future? I'm looking for info about new stores, new schools, school rules changing, new businesses and restaurants, etc.

Thanks!

Kevin

forget Manassas, come to Haymarket/Gainesville, future VRE stations will be there as well.

I wish we could for the simple reason of the VRE. However, there would be way too many transitions for my wife to get to Andrews AFB via VRE/bus/etc. Manassas is going to be bad enough and Haymarket would be just a little more pain. If the price is right, maybe.

The last thing that happened in Manassas was the Second Battle of Bull Run in 1862
