I am trying my best to be a good neighbor. But, question? What would you do if....

1) Husband does not work and hasn't worked in 3 plus yrs.
2) Wife quit work in '07.
3) Up all night, sleep all day.
4) Paces out on front side walk talking on cell phone at 1-2 am.
5) Dresses awesome.
6) Visits FLA from time to time.
7) Husband will not give eye contact at all. Never.

This is just to name a select few things. Again, I want to be a good person here, but. Feedback please. Thanks.

So...are they loud at night? Then talk to them and tell them "Hi. I am sure you do not realize it, but you are waking me up at night..." If that doesn't work, call the police.
What does it matter if they are working or not?
I guess I don't understand what you are asking...

Judging from #5, the OP is suggesting there might be some sort of illegal activity going on.

Most drug dealers have children, actually they have a lot of them in most cases. Also, most don't drive flashy cars either.

If they have short term traffic and a lot of different cars/people going in/out and they are not employed then I would say you have a good reason to be suspicious. Unless they are both retired, I would be interested to see what is going on as well. As far as the Florida trips- Florida is a "source state" for cocaine.

First of all, there are other things these people could be doing besides drugs. Second of all, I don't think the question about them having children had anything to do with determining if they were drug dealers but more of if the OP should do something because there are children in the house.

They might have a vacation home in FLA which they visit frequently and they might have made some profitable investments in the past so they don't work anymore and hence can afford expensive vacations

I wouldn't be too worried about it unless their comings and goings and phone calls disturbed me. My husband is on the phone around 1:00 a.m. almost every night and he goes outside so that he doesn't wake me and our toddler (he talks to his parents /siblings who are in a different time zone).

No eye contact wouldn't also worry me too much (could be any reason) especially if they're not Americans and from a different culture (where eye contact is considered rude).

What else is making you suspicious?

How about a dose of "mind your own business"? If your neighbors are creating a disruption or conducting obvious illegal activity, report them to authorities. Otherwise, let them live their own lives in peace.

If they were drug dealers, you would see some evidence of traffic (cars, people hanging around for a fix, etc.). If the husband never makes eye contact, how do you know he never works (generally eye contact precedes personal conversation)? Some people run internet businesses from their home and telecommute. They could also be living on disability. You don't know, and don't need to know. So, please sleep at 2am, let your neighbors go in peace, and find something better to do than gossip on online forums.
