I am moving to Herndon soon to work for Lockheed Martin. I wanted a apartment that was close to the job so I could minimize the commute. I have been looking at 3 different places. Archstone Woodland Park, Dulles Green Apartments and Van Metre Woodland Park. I am looking for a 1bd/1bt for just me. I like Archstone woodland Park for the cost and size of the apartment. I have a car and a motorcycle so I am planning on getting a garage. I want a place that is safe so I don't have to worry about my car and motorcycle being tampered with. Dulles Greene has a nice place also with a garage actually attached to the apartment for $1445, but when I looked on apartmentratings.com people gave it bad reviews. If you had a choice, what would you choose. Not looking to go broke here...keep that in mind. Also, other recommendations are welcome as long as they fit the guidelines that I am trying to fill. Thanks so much in advance...

Default Also

Archstone Woodland Park rent is $1170 and garage is $150 which totals $1320....which is less than the other two.

I currently live at Van Metre Woodland Park, the apartments are a nice size. I am in a two bedroom and I really like the apartment. It is expensive to live here though. I have not had any problems with management and it seems relatively safe. I know they sometimes run specials so maybe you could find a deal.
