KWIM= Know What I Mean...

I am orignially from Seattle, WA area.. A lot of people are friendly I guess, but personally I think some are not.. but maybe that is everywhere.. I also personally feel that people are too much in a hurry around here in the D.C. area... I'm not sure about AL yet, as my husband has a phone interview tomorrow with one of the head honchos... but it will be soon enough if we can sell our house.. Our next door neighbor have their house up on the market for a good 3 weeks now, there has been a lot of potential buyers but nothing has yet to be sold.... Ashburn has grown quite a bit..I've been here for almost 6 years come November. Loudoun county is one of the wealthiest counties in the nation and the schools are all pretty good.. I don't know yet, my children are 2 1/2 and 4 months old, but from what I've heard they pretty good. Lots of churches too, if you are religous. A good bike trail that runs from Purcellville-Arlington or somewhere like that.. It's a good stretch bike trail (W&OD bike trail)... When are you planning on moving..

We moved here last August (2007) lived in an apartment until Jan 2008 when our home sold in Philly (we were in Syracuse from 2004-2006) and moved in our home in late Jan of this year. I find Ashburn very safe and friendly. Good luck!

Thumbs up Probably a little late

This may be a little late but my Husband and I and my 3 year old live in Arbors. I love it. Its very quiet and some neighbors are friendly. I have 2 good friends that also live in the apartments. I have never had any issues. It nice to be able to walk right accross the street for quick groceries or dinner. Bluz is a fantastic place and has $1 beers on wednesday and Steak house has them on Tuesday. I strongly recomment this place
