Take this "test" with a grain of salt, it shows places that haven't been around for years and it doesn't show others.
65 closer to landmark mall in 22304 (West End Alexandria)

I'm 22304 as well, but it shows the cinema as still being in Foxchase, doesn't show any supermarket there, etc.

It has it faults. I looked up a home that appeared to get a better score for being near a "bookstore." Unfortunately it was called Erotica III, probably an adult bookstore. It also seems like you could get a good score if you lived next to a Latino strip mall.

I'm in Fairfax 22031, and the score is 43. Dismal. But I knew that - there is one strip mall I can walk to, and while it does have a fair range of stuff (a nice Safeway, CVS, some decent restaurants), one freaking strip mall doesn't cut it. The roads I have to walk along, and cross, to get there are brutal (Lee Hwy, for one). Very unpleasant. The one saving grace of this area is access to the Vienna Metro station - which is nice for my commuting husband, but it doesn't save the day.

My last address in Arlington 22203 was an 89. It was awesome, the only time I ever got in my car was to drive out to Target once a week. I really, really, really miss Arlington.

I'm in Falls Church (Pimmit Area) -- got a 77. I was surprised. Yes you can walk some places, but for the most part its not a pleasant walk.

Then again, I used to live in Bethesda.
