If I were spectacularly wealthy, I'd still opt for a cheaper area like Fairfax. I refuse to pay exboritant prices for real estate under any circumstances.

If we moved to an alternate universe where real estate prices were uniform, I'd go with either Old Town, Rosslyn, or Ballston. (Though, I'd choose DC proper over NoVa in that case).

Fun thread. And a tough choice.

Is Middleburg considered NoVa? I would love one of those grand estates on lots of land.

Otherwise, a mansion in Great Falls, Fairfax Station or Clifton. I would also have an historic house in Old Town near the waterfront as a weekend get away.

Now I'm going out to buy a lottery ticket....
