I have been living in this area since 1962 and I call it National. When going to Rockville from Sterling, I take the Cabin John bridge. You young whippersnappers can look that up.

Nope. Its called the 'American Legion Bridge' now. It has been for some time. I still refer to that as the Cabin John Bridge though.

Actually, RFK was DC Stadium from 1961 to 1969.

I call it Jesus Palin Perry Freedom Nixon National Amen Airport. Hallelujah!

Or just DCA.

People forget that the former name was WASHINGTON National Airport. Whatever you think of Ronnie Bonzo, you can't argue that the father of our country deserves to be yoinked from the cornerstone as he unfortunately was.

It's actually Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Which is a little too much like U Street African-American Civil War Memorial Cardozo for my tastes...

Very true. Forgot about that. That WAS before I was born though. I was born in 1971. That said, I would have no problem if it remained named D.C. Stadium.

HAHAHA! Oh, you forgot Bachmann. LOL!

That said, I fully agree. When I think of the person that it is named after now, I also think "ick". Btw, Isn't it still called Washington National Airport, just with that other persons name (can you tell I'm not even saying it) placed before it?
